At World Food Day during the world exhibition Expo in Milan, Copenhagen has signed the Urban Food Policy Pact. This way Copenhagen goes together with 99 of the world’s largest cities to use urban food systems to generate solutions for a number of global challenges such as Non-communicable Diseases, food waste and and overconsumption of fossil fuels.
International experts such as professor Tim Lang and Olivier De Shutter descrive the pact as a historical breakthrough in the attempt to solve a number of common global challenges.

CHORA CONNECTION contributed to the three days and is looking forward to helping, so that Copenhagen together with other large cities will change the ways cities eat and produce food. This is also a theme, CHORA CONNECTION will ge in to at “In 15 years”.
