Madfællesskabet

PROTOTYPE
A prototype challenging municipal food systems, launched in a partnership between Chora Connection, Københavns Madhus, Hotel & Restaurationsskolen in April 2015.
What: ‘Madfællesskabet’ is the result of a partnership between Chora Connection, Københavns Madhus, Hotel & Restaurationsskolen about the development of new sustainable food systems and relations between the municipality of Copenhagen, the municipality of Lejre and the municipality of Bornholm.

How: ‘Madfællesskabet’ was developed in relation to the conference and symposium FOOD FOR CITIES, that Chora Connection facilitated april 2015 and is a prototype that addresses the need for recalibrating food relations between cities and locally sourced food from rural areas.

Role: Chora Connection has the role of initiator, facilitator and accelerator in the development of ‘Madfællesskabet’ in the period March-July 2015.
