A network that comprises education initiatives to encourage sustainable development.
What: RCE is a Post-Graduate Knowledge Center collecting and disseminating the newest knowledge about the role of sustainability and resilience in the educational system. RCE is short for ‘Regional Center of Expertise’, and is a network of organizations, groups and people that work towards developing and disseminating prototypes for learning and education, which furthers sustainable development.

How: RCE is currently

RCE Denmark is an open, professional network of scientists, civil servants, NGOs, teachers and others, that is dedicated to developing and practicing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Denmark, as part of the UN’s 2015/2030 global development goals.

At the moment, there are 130 RCE offices across the world.

RCE is recognized by the UN. The secretariat is housed by Chora Connection, located at Sortedam Dosseringen 3D, 3., 2200 Copenhagen.
