A network that comprises education initiatives to encourage sustainable development.

RCE is short for ‘Regional Center of Expertise’, and is a network of organisations, groups and people that works towards developing and disseminating prototypes for learning and education, that furthers sustainable development.

RCE Denmark is an open, professional network of scientists, civil servants, NGOs, teachers and others, that is dedicated to developing and practising Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Denmark, as part of the UN’s 2015/2030 global development goals.

At the moment, there are 130 RCE offices across the world.

RCE is recognised by the UN. The secretariat is housed by Chora Connection, which is located at Sortedam Dosseringen 3D, 3., 2200 Copenhagen.
