Chora Connection og AGI's plakatprojekt 17FOR17:WORLDWIDE er i øjeblikket udstillet i FN-byen i København. D. 1 December var der reception med åbningstaler og mulighed for at se de hollandske, franske og danske plakater for første gang i Danmark.

Green Care Netværk er en ny organisation der arbejder for at fremme forskning og viden om helbredende effekter ved inddragelse af dyr og natur i restorativ behandling.
Fredag d. 27/10 faciliterede Chora Connection en heldags workshop med 15 udvalgte stakeholders fra hele sundhedssystemet, med det formål at styrke organisationens virke.

Tillid, ansvar og nærvær var nogle af de begreber der var i fokus til Chora Connections anden timeout-session med titlen "En inside-out tilgang til vores fælles fremtid". Her fik deltagerne bl.a. mulighed for at prøve folkevandringsmetoden, samt lytte til Carsten Ohm og Sonja Ohlsson erfaringer med at skabe tillid og mental resiliens.

Chora Connection was present at COP23 – The UN climate summit in Bonn. The purpose was to facilitate a workshop on behalf of a network of Nordic towns, “Attractive Nordic Towns”, led by the Norwegian municipal department under the Nordic Council of Ministers.

Chora Connection har udarbejdet en rapport, hvori der gøres status på hvilke udfordringer Danmark har i forhold til at realisere verdensmålene.

Chora Connection was involved in the opening of the SEOUL UPCYCLING CENTER in Korea, where director Karen Blincoe gave the keynote and took part in a co-creation meetup. The next step is a new international network, promoting upcycling and circular design.

At 17FOR17 WORLDWIDE, Chora Connection and AGI are engaging designers and artists in a communications project meant to spread the knowledge of the 17 SDG’s, worldwide. On 9/21/2017 the premiere of the first 17 posters from Denmark, the Netherlands and France, was held at Palais De Tokyo in Paris.

I denne serie af indlæg viser vi hvem og hvad Chora Connection er, med udgangspunkt i dagligdagen, nærmiljøet og de beslutninger der træffes i organisationen. Andet indlæg handler om de mennesker der arbejder i sekretariatet.

Bestyrelsesmedlemmer, medarbejdere samt venner og kollegaer, lagde vejen forbi Chora Connection på Sortedam Dossering 3D, i forbindelse med deres årlige sommerudflugt.

In this series of articles we wish to showcase who we are and what we do at Chora Connection. Our starting points will be our daily work, the local community and the decisions we make in the organisation. The basis of this first article is our office.

Chora Connection havde i august en workshop med 15 deltagere, der hver især repræsenterede forskellige organisationer, institutioner og funktioner i uddannelsessystemet. Workshoppen og dertilhørende arbejdsgruppe skal undersøge behovet for en SDG-certificering til de danske skoler. Ny prototype kan være undervejs.

On Thursday 8/24, Chora Connection invited 10 widely different participants to partake in an idea camp. The purpose was to develop the new prototype MY17, which aims to make consumers, citizens and ordinary people in Danish society, think and live more sustainably. The framework for MY17 is the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN.

Chora Connection og 17FOR17 var repræsenteret ved UNLEASH Be The Change festival ved musikhuset i Århus d. 21 og 22 august, sammen aktører som Vestas, Lego, Grundfos og FN-byen - foruden 1000 unge talenter fra hele verden. Målet med UNLEASH var at udvikle nye innovative løsninger der kan sikre at verden når FN's 17 verdensmål inden 2030.

The 17FOR17 posters, which depicts the Global Development Goals (SDG), has toured Denmark since January 2017. In July and August, they were exhibited at law firm Kromann Reumert. See the pictures below.

The poster project 17FOR17 has been touring Denmark with different exhibitions. Beginning of July they were exhibited for the first time out of Denmark, at the UN headquarters in New York, in connection with the High Level political forum on sustainable development.

For many fugitives, education is a key factor for the integration into the recipient country’s society as well as re-integration in their home countries. Chora Connection has collaborated with Red Cross and Gaia Education to educate 39 asylum seekers in sustainability and organic food production. The initiative is called S.E.E.S., and is both a prototype for a fugitive education effort, as well as an answer to two of today’s biggest challenges: the fugitive crisis and the environmental crisis.
