Niels Elers Koch is CEO and Editor in Chief for Trap Danmark A/S. He is a professor and dr.agro., as well as former Head of Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen. He is also former Director General of the Danish Centre for Forest, Landscape and Planning, and former President of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (www.IUFRO.org)

Niels is a member of the board for IUFRO as well as Det Kongelige Danske Geografiske Selskab (Royal Danish Geographical Society – www.rdgs.dk)

Niels is Chairman of Board at Chora Connection and a part of the Executive committee. He was a part of the core group that formed the organization.
